I think I'm starting to get my life back in order, bit by bit. I figured I'm not going to accomplish anything by just wallowing in nothingness. I should start taking an active interest in things like socializing, looking good, and working out. So far, today has actually gone well. I was able to wake up early again (it had taken me a while to find my rhythm again), after a mediocre sleep. I did some yoga in the morning before heading to the gym. Had a good gym session, went to the student loans place (for the 4th time now - the lineups for that are usually huge) to send my banking information and loan entitlement to the loans centre. I also went to the financial services office after - had to wait for a while until the office opened (and I totally enjoyed a Higgins Burke brand cup of Earl Grey in the meantime) - to get a printout of my current student account balance. An invoice, it's called. So tomorrow's task will be, sigh, sortie #5 for this paying fees thing, where I go to the bank to deposit my millenium bursary. And then I wait around until my loan comes to my account (next week), and no, I will not leave again, I will pay my fees online, goodness gracious.

The Earl Grey was really delicious. I should hit up Costco or something for a bulk stash of Earl Grey. Also, speaking of happy beverages, my January class has decided to organize pre-class coffee together, which is awesome. We are using a kitchen near the room to prepare coffee and stock it with milks, sugars and the like. It'll definitely make it easier to get through 3 hours at such an odd time of the day.

I'm also going to try and eat/drink as purely as possible today. So an internal cleanse as well. I'm down a tall glass of Greens+ (tastes fine today *shrugs*) with the daily iron pill.

I also like working out in the mornings.. it does put me in the right headset for the rest of the day. I don't feel sad/lethargic, and I'm able to do all of the other things I have to do during the day. I also find that it controls my appetite - there were times in the last few days where I just wouldn't stop tossing food into my mouth endlessly, not stopping, until I clutched my stomach in pain and couldn't do anything, sit, walk, sleep. But not today, phew.

Ottawa is snowed down these few days, and I'm loving it. There's nothing like crisp winter air and fresh snow.

Oh, and today's workout songs of mention were interestingly enough Billy Talent's ''How it Goes", and BoA's "Eat you up". I forgot how much I used to love Billy Talent. And I've always thought BoA was really cool. I think she's an amazing dancer and singer. Eat you up is apparently her more recent single trying to break through the North American market.

So in some ways I'm moving forward again, and in others I'm reconnecting with musical styles that comforted me when I was much younger.
